The European Union (EU) in Nigeria has refuted a report that the Commission, in partnership with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and International Republican Institute (IRI), is calling for the dismissal of Professor Mahmood Yakubu, chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

 

 

1) The Court of Appeal in Abuja has granted the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, permission to inspect election materials used on February 25.
