The Labour Party (LP) is leading in the presidential election results in five of Edo State’s 18 local government areas, according to the state’s Collation Officer, Prof. Nyaudoh Ndaeyo, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The LP is closely followed by the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is third, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) is fourth.

So far, the results from Igueben, Esan Central, Esan Northeast, and Esan Southeast LGAs in Edo Central Senatorial District, as well as Egor LGA in Edo South Senatorial District, have been compiled.
