The British Envoy Confirms the Visa Ban But Fails to Name Offenders
The British government has imposed a visa ban on officials of the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other electoral offenders following the aftermath of the recent election in Nigeria.

The British Foreign and Commonwealth Envoy has announced that the ban will prevent any interference with the electoral process.
The envoy said that the ban was necessary to protect the integrity of the electoral process and to ensure that the elections are conducted in a fair and transparent manner.

However, the British government has refused to name those who are subject to the visa ban.
