The Federal Government, led by Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele, has launched the eNaira wallet for easy transactions and to strengthen the Naira (₦).

Meanwhile, Rep. Benjamin Kalu, the House of Representatives’ spokesperson, has urged all levels of government to provide the infrastructure needed to promote Nigeria’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

He said this, according to Naija News, while speaking to exhibitors at the 8th made-in-Aba trade fair in Abuja on Tuesday.

Speaking at the event, Kalu stated that SMEs would benefit from the availability of electricity and production machines.

The legislator praised the artisans for exhibiting high-quality goods at the trade show and urged them to continue to be good ambassadors for the made-in-Aba brand.

He emphasised the importance of Nigerians buying locally made goods, describing it as a surefire way to boost SMEs in the country.
