The audio of what Deborah Yakubu said about  Prophet Mohammed before she was brutally murdered has emerged.

The late Deborah was a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State.

She was killed and burnt in the presence of security operatives in Sokoto State for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed.

According to an audio obtained by Ejes Gist Newspaper, the lady warned her classmates against posting religious things on their class WhatsApp group chat.

She was having a debate with some of her classmates over an upcoming exam, and when questioned how she passed her exams, she responded that it was because of Jesus.” She was urged to retract her statement and apologize, but she declined.

She said,Holy Ghost Fire! Nothing would happen to me. Is it by force that you guys would always be sending this religious stuff in the group? The group wasn’t created for that, but rather as a notice for when there’s a test, assignment, exams, etc. not these nonsense religious posts.”

The Government has ordered immediate closure of the college.

A statement by the Commissioner reads: “It has come to the notice of Sokoto State Government, the unfortunate incident that took place at the Shehu Shagari College of Education (SSCOE) Sokoto in which a Student of the College, lost her life.

“The Government has ordered the immediate closure of the College.

“Already, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has directed the Ministry of Higher Education and relevant Security agencies in the State to commence investigations into the remote and immediate causes of the incident and report back to the Government.

“Meanwhile, Governor Ammu Waziri Tambuwal has called on the people of the State to remain calm and maintain peace, as the Government would take appropriate actions on the findings of the investigations by the relevant authority.
