APC National Secretary Calls for Treason Charges Against Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi

Senator Bashiru Ajibola, the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has asserted that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s flagbearer, should face treason charges.

This declaration comes in response to Peter Obi’s recent press conference in Abuja, during which he urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to provide additional information about his identity, including his real names, state of origin, and details about his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) service.

Senator Ajibola, speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, contended that President Tinubu’s credentials are well-known to Nigerians and that there is no need for any reintroduction.

He further stated that Atiku and Obi are grappling with the disappointment of their electoral loss and suggested they seek psychiatric evaluation.

Ajibola went on to assert that questioning the identity of the President amounts to treason, and thus, Atiku and Obi should be charged accordingly.
