When parents came to pick up day students at the close of school, the girl reported the matter to her mother.
Instead of taking the complaint to the school authorities, the mother went out and bought enough canes to flog the male student for touching her daughter in such a sensitive part of the body.
Security personnel stopped her on arrival at the school premises with the canes, telling her she would not be allowed inside with them and would not be permitted to flog any student. She was advised to report her grievance to the school authorities, but she refused, insisting that she must deal with the male student.
Having failed to get past the security men, she descended on them. As they tried to hold her back from harassing them, she lay down on the floor and began making calls to her husband, claiming that the school security were manhandling her.
Her husband quickly sent military personnel, who rushed to the scene, beat up all the security men and arrested them to Bendel Estate Police Station Effurun, for further torture until one of the security men lost his eardrum.
The security men were later brought back to the school with bruises all over their bodies. By the time the school authorities were informed of the matter, the men had been admitted in hospital.
The incident resulted in the dismissal of the students involved.
Both the parents of the students and the school authorities are currently in court to justify their actions.
This is a developing story, more details to come.
