A former Nairobi-based radio presenter, Parvin Sigei, accused of setting his wife’s house ablaze, has opened up about their marital woes in a trending video. Reports indicate that Sigei allegedly torched the house over disputes related to jealousy and his wife’s success.

Sigei claimed to have bought his wife a car and asserted that the house, which reportedly went up in flames, suffered from an electrical fault.

“Even if I leave KSh 200k in the house in the morning, she will still ask for money for fuel in the evening. I have suffered for long,” he lamented.

His emotional breakdown highlighted a long-standing frustration, as he expressed that he could no longer endure the situation.

“So now they are seeing the house, but they don’t know what happened behind the scenes,” he stated.

However, he denied any involvement in the fire, asserting that it was purely coincidental. He mentioned having witnesses who could confirm that he closed the door and left the house intact.
