Akwa Ibom First Lady has been confirmed dead.
Akwa Ibom First Lady, Patience Umo Eno, the wife of Governor Umo Bassey Eno of Akwa Ibom State, has passed away. The announcement was made by Ini Ememobong, the state’s Commissioner for Information, in a statement released on Friday.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, following an illness. She passed away peacefully at the hospital in the presence of her family,” he stated.
The family has expressed their submission to the will of the Almighty and is requesting prayers and support from kind-hearted individuals during this difficult time. They have also requested privacy as they mourn their beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

While the cause of her death remains unknown, the Commissioner revealed that she died on Thursday, September 26, 2024, surrounded by her family. It was gathered that she died after a brief illness.
