Policeman Guns Down Electoral Official In Delta
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed that a staff member was murdered in Delta State by police officers.
According to reports, the official traveling to Asaba, the state capital, was killed at a checkpoint in the Ukwani Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to state Resident Electoral Commissioner Mr. Monday Tom, while the unidentified official was fatally shot, the corps members assigned to him for election duties were injured.
