Jonathan Majors guilty of Assault and Harassment: Justice Prevails.
In a landmark verdict, acclaimed American actor Jonathan Majors was found guilty of physical assault and harassment against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The six-person jury in New York delivered the verdict on Monday after a four-hour deliberation, as reported by ABC News.
The incident unfolded in March when Majors, known for his role in Marvel productions, was arrested and charged with four counts of assault following a heated altercation with Jabbari. The dispute arose when Jabbari glimpsed a message from another woman on Majors’ phone during a night out.
Jabbari, upon examination, displayed multiple injuries, including a laceration behind her ear and a fractured finger. The 34-year-old actor, however, maintained his innocence, pleading not guilty to the charges and opting not to testify during the trial.

The jury’s decision on Monday rendered Majors guilty of one count of third-degree reckless assault and one count of second-degree harassment. Remarkably, he was acquitted of two other charges, specifically intentional assault and aggravated harassment.
Reacting to the verdict, Ross Kramer, the attorney representing the victim, Grace Jabbari, expressed satisfaction, emphasizing that justice had been served. In a statement, Kramer acknowledged Jabbari’s courage in testifying truthfully despite the emotional toll, thanking the jurors, the judge, and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office for their diligence and support.
Kramer’s statement highlighted, “Ms. Jabbari’s resolve to see this case through to the end demonstrates her tremendous strength and resilience.” He also noted the unfortunate reality that many survivors hesitate to come forward, expressing hope that Jabbari’s actions would inspire others to speak out and seek justice.
The sentencing for Jonathan Majors is scheduled for February 6 next year, marking a significant chapter in the legal aftermath of this high-profile case.
