Nollywood actress Sarah Martins cried out after sending N100,000 to the wrong account, describing the experience as heartbreaking in a video shared online.
The Mistake
Martins said she went to get her hair done. When the stylist finished, she asked for the company’s account number. The account number was already posted on a wall, and she typed it. But she missed one digit, and the money went to another account.
“I sent money to a wrong account. I went to get my hair done, and after getting my hair done, I asked the stylist’s assistant to call out the account number. She pointed out the account number on the wall. Honestly, the number I saw there is what I typed, but I mistakenly typed one wrong number, and the money went to a different account,” she said.
“I am in pain. The mistake I made was that I didn’t check the name that popped out.”

The movie star also decried the alarming rate of beggars flooding her direct messages. She issued a warning, telling them to stop flooding her DMs.

A year ago, Martins, a former friend of Judy Austin, bought a Lexus SUV. She noted that she had spent only 12 months in Lagos and God had already perfected everything for her.
Not impressed, a troll said her BBL finally paid off, allowing her to afford the car. Martins responded that she has seven brands and properties that are 10 times more expensive than her Lexus. She warned the troll against attributing her sweat to her figure.

Martins had blown hot at an unidentified person for belittling her over her job. She made it known that her job pays her 5 million to 10 million naira monthly and gives her more respect than sleeping with married men for sponsorship. Martins declared that she is a legit hustler and that people should stop comparing her to a prostitute.
In another instance, Sarah wrote a touching note to herself after being recognized in the Africa’s Under 40 CEOs award. She noted that she started her empire with just N100,000 in 2019, never took no for an answer, and built a whole empire.
Also, she was left emotional after hitting 1 million views on YouTube in less than four weeks. Martins stated that she was evidence that God is real, as she expressed gratitude to the public.
