Biafra, Yoruba Nation: Nigeria Won’t Break Up – Tinubu Addresses Agitators
The president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, has stated that the country will not break up.
He addressed those advocating secession; the likes of the Yoruba Agitators, Biafra and others.

Tinubu guaranteed that Nigeria would not disintegrate or perish.
He spoke during his inaugural address on Monday at Eagles Square in Abuja.
The newly inaugurated president stated that Nigeria would exist similarly to the rest of the world.
Tinubu asserts, “For many years, Nigeria’s critics have asserted that Nigeria will disintegrate or even perish, yet here we are.
“We have stumbled at times, but perseverance and diversity have kept us afloat, and we will continue to do so.
As long as the world continues to exist, Nigeria will exist.

Over the years, groups such as the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have advocated for Nigeria’s dissolution.
Likewise, the Yoruba Nation movement has advocated for Nigeria’s separation.
While IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu is being detained by the Department of State Services (DSS), Sunday Igboho is being held in the Benin Republic.
