Gov Fintiri Suspends All International and Local NGOs In Adamawa over alleged Vote Buying
The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has suspended the operations of all international and local non-governmental organizations in Adamawa State.
The governor issued the order while briefing journalist during his post-election state broadcast.

The Governor disclosed that some non-governmental organizations were operating as political parties, exchanging items and purchasing votes; consequently, their activities are suspended until after the elections.
He disclosed that some NGOs were using their outreach to the public to engage in politics and to purchase votes for political organizations.

He warned that any NGOs found conducting operations within the state of Adamawa would henceforth be apprehended and arrested.
He admonished all citizens to refrain from engaging in violent behavior, as security agents have been tasked with descending upon anyone causing disturbances or disturbing the peace in Adamawa state.
