Maduka Okoye Urges Super Eagles to Secure Crucial Win in AFCON Qualifiers
Maduka Okoye, a goalkeeper with the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has said and declared that starting the 2025 AFCON qualifying campaign with a win will be very key.
The Super Eagles host their neighboring country, the Benin Republic, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium this Saturday.
Okoye, who was signed by Udinese some weeks ago, said it was all about the three points that mattered now for the team after their last one win in five outings.
“It is important we win because this is an important AFCON qualifier, We must be at our best and play at the top of our game,” he told newsmen.
