Maduka Okoye, a goalkeeper with the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has said and declared that starting the 2025 AFCON qualifying campaign with a win will be very key.
The Super Eagles host their neighboring country, the Benin Republic, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium this Saturday.
Okoye, who was signed by Udinese some weeks ago, said it was all about the three points that mattered now for the team after their last one win in five outings.

The three-time African champions are keen on starting their campaign on a bright note, and Okoye repeated that the team’s focus remains to see to the winning of a victory for both the Super Eagles and the nation. “What is most important is the victory for the team and for Nigeria,” he added.
