Former Labour Party vice-presidential candidate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, has threatened to make further revelations about his former presidential running mate, Peter Obi, amid growing tensions between him and supporters of the former Anambra State governor, popularly known as Obidients.

 

Datti issued the warning while responding to attacks from Obi’s supporters, accusing them of constantly attacking him whenever he speaks about their principal.

 

Speaking in an interview with Symfoni TV, the former vice-presidential candidate maintained that his comments about Obi were based on what he described as the truth, insisting that Obidients had continued to target him for speaking out.

 

He further suggested that he had more damaging information about Obi and the events surrounding the 2023 presidential election that he could make public if the attacks against him continued.

 

“Obidients are always eager to attack me. I have more damaging things to reveal. You attack me because I told you the truth about Peter Obi,” Datti said.
