A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Edoma Jacob, has urged party members and supporters in Cross River State to rally behind the party’s candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the PDP as the best option to rescue the state and Obubra from their current challenges.

 

Edoma, a former councillorship candidate for Obubra Urban, made the call during a sensitisation session in Owakande II, Obubra Local Government Area, where he encouraged supporters to remain loyal to the PDP and mobilise voters for its candidates across the state.

 

He urged party members to place their confidence in the PDP, recalling that the cost of living was more affordable for ordinary Nigerians during previous PDP-led administrations.

 

Edoma Recalls PDP’s Record on Cost of Living

Addressing supporters, Edoma highlighted what he described as the relatively affordable cost of living under past PDP administrations, arguing that the party offered a better alternative for Nigerians struggling with economic hardship.

He also called on the electorate to vote for Sir Arthur Jarvis Archibong, the party’s governorship candidate in Cross River State, alongside other PDP candidates contesting various elective positions.

 

According to him, widespread support for the party’s candidates would strengthen the PDP’s chances of securing electoral victories and implementing its proposed policies.
