Rivers Crisis: You’ll Pay If You Hurt Anyone While Expressing Your Useless Support, Fubara Warns LG Chairmen
Governor Sim Fubara Vows to Hold Violent Local Government Chairmen Accountable.
Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has issued a stern warning to local government chairmen and political figures in the state, vowing to hold accountable anyone who engages in violence or harm against others.
Fubara made this declaration during the flag-off ceremony for the construction of the Elele-Omoku Road on Thursday.
Fubara condemned recent attacks on his supporters, emphasizing that such actions are unnecessary and will not be tolerated. When we left Aleso the other day, some people went there and attacked our people. There is no need for it.

Nobody has the monopoly of violence,” Fubara stated. I should even be the one who should come and shout that I will do this, I will do that, but I don’t need to do that because both sides belong to me.
Addressing the local government chairmen directly, Fubara advised them to conduct themselves appropriately as their tenure comes to an end.
