Rapper Travis Scott Gifts Janitor $5,000 To Take Night Off And Enjoy Concert (Video)

American rapper, Travis Scott has left a janitor in a state of utter shock after gifting him $5,000.

The incident happened at the rapper’s recent tour stop at Miami.

After seeing a janitor wield a mop to clean up after all the sweaty ragers, he halted the show and questioned the venue’s motives for having the guy tarnish his mosh pit’s essence.

He then asked the janitor to drop the mop and soak up the rest of the show as a fan because he’s paying him $5K to do so.

As the crowd got charged up by Travis’ random act of kindness, he lit them up even more by dropping his Playboi Carti-assisted banger “Fein” on the crowd, causing them to lose it and sweat even more.

BREAKING: Rivers Assembly Orders Fubara To Withdraw Fresh Appointments

Rivers State House of Assembly Calls for Withdrawal of Allegedly Unlawful Appointments by Gov Siminalayi Fubara

In a move that signals tension between the legislative and executive branches in Rivers State, the State House of Assembly has written to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, urging the withdrawal of recent appointments, citing alleged violations of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The letter, signed by Martin Amaewhule, the Speaker, and made available to journalists, accuses Governor Fubara of gross misconduct in making three key appointments to lead various parastatals without adhering to existing legal protocols.

The appointed officials in question include Goodlife Ben as Acting Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Dr. Ine Briggs as Acting Director-General of the Bureau for Public Procurement, and Tonte Davies as Acting Administrator of the New Cities Development Authority.

The Rivers House of Assembly asserts that these appointments run afoul of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and constitute a gross misconduct and abuse of power on the part of Governor Fubara. The lawmakers, referencing relevant sections of the Constitution, demand the immediate revocation of these appointments.

During a recent plenary session, Amaewhule expressed dissatisfaction with Governor Fubara’s decision to appoint an Administrator for the New Cities Development Authority, a body lacking legislative recognition in the state. He further argued that the appointments of an acting Chairman for the Local Government Service Commission and an Acting Director-General for the Bureau for Public Procurement violate the established laws governing these institutions.

The House, in a collective vote, resolved to write to Governor Fubara, emphasizing the alleged violations of Section 44(3) of the Rivers State Local Government Law No. 5 of 2018 and Section 5(1) of the Rivers State Public Procurement Law No. 4 of 2008.

Political analysts suggest that accusations of “gross misconduct” are serious and could potentially provide grounds for impeachment. However, as of the current report, neither the Governor nor the Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice have responded to the letter from the Rivers State House of Assembly. The situation remains dynamic, and further developments are awaited.

This decision, aimed at decongesting the head office, aligns with building safety standards and seeks to optimize office space.

The announcement, detailed in a circular dated January 12th from the director of the human resources department to all CBN staff, has sparked diverse reactions among stakeholders. 5. Financial Policy Regulations Department

Despite the mixed reception, the CBN shows no signs of backtracking on its decision, emphasizing the commitment to the strategic move.

According to reports from The Nation, approximately 1,500 CBN staff are poised to resume duties in Lagos State on February 2nd as part of the relocation plan. This development has faced criticism, yet it continues to progress, with sources within the bank confirming that the move is still in motion.

The decision, rooted in concerns over safety, health risks, and the necessity to comply with building requirements, was prompted by repeated warnings from the facilities manager and recommendations from the committee on decongestion of the CBN head office building.

Osamor’s suspension comes in the wake of her sharing a photograph of herself at a Holocaust Educational Trust event, commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day. However, it was her statements in her weekly newsletter that sparked outrage, where she suggested adding Gaza to the list of ‘recent genocides.

In her newsletter, Osamor stated, “Tomorrow is Holocaust Memorial Day, an international day to remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust… and more recent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and now Gaza.”

The aftermath of her comments saw swift condemnation, prompting Osamor to issue a tweet apologizing “for any offence caused by my reference to the ongoing humanitarian disaster in Gaza as part of that period of remembrance.

Critics, including the Holocaust Educational Trust, labeled Osamor’s remarks as a “painful insult to survivors of the Holocaust.” The Board of Deputies of British Jews went further, calling her comment “disgraceful,” while the Jewish Leadership Council accused her of exploiting Holocaust Memorial Day to attack the Jewish state.

Shadow business secretary Jonathan Reynolds joined the criticism, stating that it is not acceptable to equate the Holocaust to the situation in Gaza.

The suspension of Minister Osamor reflects the ongoing sensitivity surrounding discussions related to Israel, Gaza, and the Holocaust. As the controversy unfolds, it raises questions about the boundaries of political discourse and the intersection of international affairs with historical remembrance.

The controversy centres around the appointment of Goodlife Ben as the acting chairman of the Rivers State Local Government Service Commission.

According to the Assembly, this appointment violates Section 44(3) of the Rivers State Local Government Law No. 5 of 2018, which mandates the governor to seek confirmation from the House of Assembly for such appointments.

The Assembly expressed disapproval of other appointments, including Ine Briggs as the acting director-general of the Bureau for Public Procurement and Tonte Davies as the acting administrator of the non-existent New Cities Development Authority (NCDA). The House contends that these appointments run afoul of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and other relevant laws.

In the letter to Governor Fubara, Speaker Amaewhule emphasized, “This law does not grant the Governor any power to appoint anyone, even in an acting capacity, without the confirmation by a resolution of the House of Assembly.”

The timing of this directive follows Governor Fubara’s gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for support during challenging times, particularly after a Supreme Court victory in a governorship election dispute. Despite this, legal experts warn that Fubara risks impeachment if caution is not exercised, especially considering recent political manoeuvres involving lawmakers loyal to his predecessor, Wike, who defected to the APC.

The situation unfolds against a backdrop of political intricacies, and the coming days will likely witness the governor’s response and potential shifts in the political landscape of Rivers State.

Senior lawyer Adeleke Agbola (SAN) has unveiled the strategic moves of Rivers Assembly lawmakers following Governor Fubara’s attempt to reconcile with his predecessor, Wike. Agbola cautioned that Fubara’s actions could potentially lead to impeachment if not approached with prudence.

The legal expert’s disclosure adds a layer of complexity to the political dynamics in Rivers State, raising questions about the governor’s political manoeuvring and the Assembly’s response.
