President Bola Tinubu Presents Educational and Immigration Records in Defence Against Petition

During his defence in the petition filed by Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), President Bola Tinubu has submitted copies of his educational records from Chicago State University. The documents were presented by his lawyer, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN).

Accompanying the educational records is a 2007 letter from the United States Embassy in Nigeria, which clears Tinubu of any criminal liability in the United States. Additionally, the letter of request from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to the US Embassy has been tendered as evidence.

The academic records from Chicago State University consist of 12 certified documents, dated June 28, 2023, and were validated by Jamar C. Orr, the Associate General Counsel at the Office of the Legal Affairs of the university.

Breaking: APC distances self from NASS principal officers

The All Progressives Congress (APC) ruling party has found itself at odds with the leadership of the 10th National Assembly following the announcement of new principal officers. On Tuesday, a glaring divide emerged between the party and the presiding officers over the zoning of key positions in both chambers.

During a meeting with members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the APC, distanced the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party from the arrangement. He emphasized that the party had not played any role in selecting the lawmakers being touted as principal officers of the National Assembly.

The appointments of the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, were announced on Tuesday, following agreements by the caucuses of the majority and minority parties. However, Adamu clarified that the remaining offices’ determination in both chambers was yet to be finalized.

“The election of the principal officers of the Senate by the Senate President and Deputy Senate President. The election of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives have been determined and announced and their responsibilities,” stated Adamu.

While he acknowledged courtesy visits from the Senate President and Deputy, as well as the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, he expressed his surprise at the online media’s unverified reports regarding the announcements of other positions.

Adamu reaffirmed that the national headquarters of the party’s NWC had not issued any official communication about the selection of offices. As per the customary practice, until the party formally resolves and communicates such decisions in writing, there is no intention to deviate from traditions.

The APC’s distancing from the announcements made by the Senate President, Deputy Senate President, Speaker, or Deputy Speaker underscores the party’s desire to maintain proper procedures and adherence to established norms. They stress the importance of official communication from the party’s secretariat before considering any announcements as legitimate.

As this dispute unfolds, it may impact the cohesion and dynamics within the National Assembly, potentially leading to further discussions and negotiations to address the concerns raised by the ruling party. The party’s stance highlights the significance of party involvement and cooperation in the selection of principal officers to ensure unity and effectiveness in the legislative processes.

JAMB bans Mmesoma Ejikeme for 3 years, saying, ‘People will be shocked if we further expose her’

The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Ishaq Oloyede, stated that if the board decides to disclose further details about the “forgery” committed by Mmesoma Ejikeme, the candidate from Anambra State accused of manually inflating her UTME score, Nigerians would be astonished.

Ejes Gist News Nigeria reports that Mmesoma was accused by the board of falsifying her 2023 UTME result on Sunday evening. However, she has denied the allegations made against her by JAMB.

Oloyede confirmed that the result presented by Ejikeme was actually a template used by a student who took the UTME two years ago. In an interview with Premium Times, the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin emphasized, “If you scan the code, the candidate’s result will show up. So I can confidently state that the girl is displaying a counterfeit result. Either she is being deceived or she is involved with a group that fabricates purported JAMB results.

“There are security features on our results, so I can emphasise that the girl is just trying to deceive the public. Her result is completely fake. Her claim that she printed the result from our site is a lie, and totally incorrect. If we should reveal all that we know, people will be shocked. So if people are looking for shortcuts to achieve an end, that is what would happen.”

JAMB said the matter has nothing to do with its system, saying nobody hacked into its system and that the result did not emanate from its system.

“The result she is holding is completely fake because we are able to track everything printed from our system,” it said.

But JAMB insisted that she forged the result and placed a three-year ban on her.

[BREAKING] UTME score: We stopped using notification slip presented by Mmesoma in 2021 — JAMB

On Tuesday morning, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced that it will no longer accept the printout currently being displayed by Anambra candidate Mmesoma Ejikeme as her valid result in 2021.

The board further stated that the UTME result exhibited by “Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma is patently fake.”

JAMB asserted that only Mmesoma paraded the “obsolete” notification slip out of all the applicants who sat the 2023 UTME, according to a statement made accessible to our correspondent on Tuesday morning by the Board’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin.

“As a result, the Board wishes to reassure Nigerians that its system was not tampered with or compromised because the candidate simply falsified a copy of a result slip of a candidate named “Asimiyu Mariam Omobolanle,” who sat the UTME in 2021 and scored 138.”

“It is also worth noting that the candidate, in her statement, inadvertently revealed the rightful owner of the result she is displaying by pointing out that the QR code on the result slip revealed the actual owner of the said result before she peddled a lie in an attempt to obfuscate the truth.”

“To see the Board’s unassailable position on this obvious falsehood, the general public is urged to scan the QR code on the result slip to see its actual owner before it was mutilated.” It should be remembered that the QR code encompasses each candidate’s UTME result; thus, what appears on the result sheet is nothing more than the interpretation of the information on this QR code.

“Furthermore, the public should be aware that the Board discontinued issuing Notification of Result slips following the 2021 UTME due to candidates falsifying them.” As a result, the Board has started providing actual UTME RESULT Slips (rather than notification of results) since 2022, replete with each candidate’s portrait.

“Similarly, the public is invited to reflect on the fact that, of all the candidates who took the 2023 UTME, only Ms. Ejikeme Mmesoma parades the out-of-date ‘Notification of Result.”

“In the meantime, the Board’s management has withdrawn her 2023 UTME result and barred her from sitting the Board’s examination for the next three years, after considering the serious infraction committed by Ms. Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma and in accordance with its established procedures.”

PoS agents in Lagos increase charges for withdrawal, transfer.

Residents of Lagos State will soon experience an increase in charges for money withdrawals and transfers through Point of Sale (PoS) transactions. The Lagos State chapter of the Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria (AMMBAN) has resolved to implement a fee of N000 for cash withdrawals of N10,000.

Stephen Adeoye, the Public Relations Officer of AMMBAN in Lagos, announced the new charges during an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday. He stated that the association aims to eliminate price discrepancies in the industry through the implementation of a standardized price list.

Adeoye provided details of the new charges, stating that withdrawals ranging from N1,000 to N2,400 would incur a fee of N100. Withdrawals from N3,000 to N4,000 would attract a fee of N200, while withdrawals from N4,100 to N6,400 would incur a fee of N300. The charges increase gradually based on the withdrawal amount, with withdrawals from N8,000 to N10,900 incurring a fee of N000. The prices continue to rise for higher withdrawal amounts as specified in the association’s price list.

Regarding deposits and transfers, agents can now charge N100 for amounts ranging from N1,000 to N4,900. For amounts from N5,000 to N10,900, a fee of N200 would be applicable. The charges increase further based on the transaction amount, with N300 for N11,000 to N20,900, N400 for N21,000 to N30,900, N000 for N31,000 to N40,000, and N600 for N41,100 to N00,000.

It is worth noting that these new charges contradict the assurances made earlier by Victor Olojo, the National President of AMMBAN, who stated in January that the association had no plans to increase service charges. Additionally, in February, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released emergency telephone numbers for reporting PoS agents charging above N200 for withdrawals up to N10,000.

However, according to Adeoye, the chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the association, David Abiodun, recently released the new price list during a symposium attended by executive members. The purpose of the list is to regulate the activities of agents who continue to overcharge their customers.

Enforcement of the price list will be facilitated through the association’s collaboration with the police and the establishment of task forces in their operational areas. Adeoye stated that they have a good relationship with the Lagos State Command and the police force, and task forces will be set up in each zone to ensure compliance. AMMBAN will also leverage its registration system and collaboration with the CBN to enforce the price list effectively.

Eu report on 2023 election sparks fresh controversy

    Eu report on 2023 election.

Nigeria’s 2023 general elections, including the presidential, National Assembly, governorship, and state houses of assembly elections, have taken place, but the discussions and impact are still ongoing.

After the elections, including the presidential election, and the subsequent declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, as the winner, there have been ongoing discussions and debates about the process.

Read Also JAMB detected 178 malpractices in 2022/23 –examination

The two major opposition parties, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP), along with their presidential candidates, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, respectively, as well as a few other political parties, have expressed their disagreement with the outcome of the elections. They have taken their concerns to the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal to seek resolution.

It is worth noting that a significant number of Nigerians, especially the younger generation who participated in the electoral process for the first time, expressed disappointment with the high level of violence that occurred.

The elections have been described by some local and international observer missions as not meeting the minimum standard of what free, fair, and credible elections should be.

However, the APC has stated that the exercise was deemed credible and accurately represented the desires of the people.

As the tribunal’s decision is being awaited, discussions on the election outcome have been reignited with the recent release of the final report on the findings by the European Union Election Observation Mission (EU-EOM) regarding the February 25 and March 18 elections.

The EU-EOM, which operated in Nigeria from January 11 to April 11, 2023, had 110 accredited observers from 25 EU member states, as well as Norway, Switzerland, and Canada.

They were in Nigeria at the request of the country’s electoral umpire, the INEC.

According to the Chief Observer of the Mission and member of the European Parliament, Barry Andrews, the Mission presented its findings and recommendations after a three-month-long observation across Nigeria.

The report, which he mentioned was in line with the EU-EOM’s typical procedure, highlighted that deficiencies in law and electoral administration impeded the organisation of efficient and inclusive elections and affected trust in the INEC.

The Mission, however, provided 23 recommendations for the Nigerian authorities to consider as a way to enhance future elections in Nigeria.

“We have identified six areas that require reforms, which we consider to be priority recommendations. If these reforms are implemented, they could potentially contribute to improvements in the conduct of future elections,” Andrews stated.

Read Also Naira to Dollar black market exchange rate today, July 4, 2023

According to the report, the six priority recommendations are focused on improving various aspects of the electoral process. These include clarifying any uncertainties in the law, implementing a transparent selection process for INEC members, ensuring timely publication and access to election results, enhancing protection for media practitioners, addressing gender discrimination in politics, and tackling the issue of impunity among electoral officers.

Andrews emphasised the importance of political will in Nigeria to achieve better democratic practises. He highlighted that it is crucial for all stakeholders to engage in dialogue on electoral reforms.

“The European Union is willing to assist Nigerian stakeholders in the implementation of these recommendations,” he stated.

The report was received with a variety of reactions.

While the presidency and many supporters of the ruling APC expressed scepticism about the report, describing it as biassed and fraudulent, other Nigerians welcomed it, stating that it simply confirmed what many Nigerians already believed about the elections. Since the report was released a few days ago, there have been varying opinions on the matter.

In response to the report, the presidency, represented by the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy, Dele Alake, issued a statement dismissing it as an effort to mock the Nigerian electoral system and the INEC.

The statement mentioned that there were concerns about the processes used to produce the report and the parameters used by the body, which raised questions about its ability to conduct reliable monitoring.

Alake claimed that the EU-EOM had shown bias prior to the elections, suggesting that the report was compiled to support their pre-existing bias against the system.

The presidency, therefore, disagreed with the report as it felt it did not accurately represent the complete picture of the election, particularly the presidential election.

It was also stated that the body could only send 40 observers to the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Additionally, the report was based on incidents from less than 1000 polling units out of 176,000 polling units.

It also stated that the 2023 general elections were considered to be the most neutral and credible in the country since the start of the current democracy in 1999.

Part of the statement from the presidency read: “Considering the level of personnel deployed, which was only about one person per state, we question how EU-EOM effectively monitored elections in over 176,000 polling units across Nigeria.”

We are interested in understanding the process behind the EU’s conclusions in the final report, considering the limited coverage of the elections by their observers. It is important to ascertain the extent to which they relied on various sources such as rumours, hearsay, social media commentaries, and opposition statements.

We believe that the final report on our recent elections, as stated by EU-EOM, may have been based on limited information and focused primarily on a small number of incidents in less than 1,000 polling units out of the total 176,000 units where Nigerians cast their votes on Election Day.

We have reasons to believe that the report, based on the views of fewer than 50 observers, was intended to support the same denunciatory stance contained in the EU’s preliminary report released in March.

We reject any notion or idea suggesting that the 2023 election was fraudulent.

The presidency, on the other hand, stated that it was pleased that other observers from various local and international organisations, which it considered credible, had confirmed that the recent general elections were the most free since 1999.

However, some analysts believe that President Tinubu may not have needed to concern himself with the EU-EOM’s report as he was not directly responsible for conducting the elections.

As a participant in the elections, it is their opinion that INEC and former President Muhammadu Buhari, not Tinubu, would have been more suitable to respond to the report since they were the ones involved with the conduct of the election.

One individual who shares this perspective is Lemmy Ughegbe, a journalist and public affairs analyst.

He mentioned his surprise at the response of Tinubu and his team to the report, stating that it was merely a repetition of what the Nigerian civil society organisation’s situation room had previously published as their findings on the election.

I have concerns because Tinubu, who was a candidate, did not oversee the elections. So, why should he consider participating in this discussion when it is the responsibility of INEC and Buhari, of course, to handle it? It is not his responsibility as he did not oversee the elections. They suggest that he should focus solely on matters of governance.

He stated: “The concern in all of these is that Tinubu, on inauguration day and afterwards, has spoken as if the election was flawless, which may not accurately reflect the reality, and may be disappointing to Nigerians who took part in the elections and observed the process.”

The National Assembly elections and the presidential elections were held concurrently. The INEC officials successfully uploaded real-time election results for the National Assembly. However, a glitch occurred when it came to the presidential elections.

The concern with Tinubu and his associates labelling the election as perfect is that it may lead to a decline in the quality of future elections. Acknowledging the flaws and shortcomings is crucial in order to address any issues. No human endeavour is flawless, but Tinubu and his associates claim that theirs is without imperfections.

I am concerned that individuals like Dele Alake may not realise that their response could contribute to the ongoing controversy. If they had chosen not to speak about it, the situation would have resolved itself.

It is concerning and reminds one of Nigeria’s patriot, the late Umar Musa Yar’adua, who, on his inauguration day in 2007, acknowledged the presence of irregularities in the elections that led to his presidency. He expressed his commitment to initiating electoral reforms.

That is how one might speak on a matter like this. The work of human endeavour is often imperfect; Tinubu and his associates, including Alake, claim that the elections were flawless. They had some imperfections, such as irregularities, including instances of voter suppression.

The LP has also responded through its national publicity secretary, Obiora Ifoh, stating that the report is reliable and represents the genuine stance of the majority of the voters.

He described the Presidency’s attempt to discredit the report as an attempt at face-saving.

Additionally, the PDP’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, expressed his support for the report that suggests the election was rigged in favour of Tinubu, as stated by his Special Assistant on Public Communication, Frank Shibu.

He acknowledged the report stating that the election was affected by irregularities and did not meet the minimum standards of credibility.

According to Shaibu, it was widely believed that the last elections lacked credibility. The electoral body has not yet provided an explanation for the delay in uploading the full election results on its viewing portal, even after nearly five months. Even primary school children who did not vote have expressed their opinions that INEC did not perform well and that there were allegations of election rigging by Tinubu in the last elections.

Shaibu questioned the government’s decision to accept billions of dollars from the EU as an election fund while also expressing scepticism towards the body’s comment.

He mentioned that the EU provided training for the INEC staff and donated equipment for the INEC to conduct the polls. Why did Alake argue that the EU lacks the authority to speak, despite being the largest single donor to the INEC? It would be better for Mr. Alake to remain silent instead of attempting to justify the unjustifiable.

The publisher of CNK news and public affairs analysts, Chris Nwandu, was not surprised by the presidency’s reaction, as it was expected.

The government may not be inclined to commend the report, as they are involved in the contested election that is being discussed.

Many organisations, including the situation room led by Madam N. Obi and comprising various CSOs, have described the elections as being slow.

What was said? It has been stated that, in contrast to INEC’s promise, the presidential election result was not uploaded in real time. This statement is based on the fact that even INEC has not disputed it.

However, according to the presidential spokesperson, Alake, the Federal Government’s stance is that the infractions in approximately 10,000 polling units should not be used to invalidate the results of over 176,000 polling units.

So, according to him, 10,000 is not considered high enough and the figure exceeds the mentioned 10,000. The statement made was that the election was flawed, and anyone who disagrees may be avoiding the truth.

He expressed a different opinion about the presidency, stating, “These observers are impartial; the EU observers are not Nigerians, they came to oversee the election and submitted their report afterwards.”

What was expected of the government was to acknowledge the result and explore ways to prevent such infractions from occurring in the future.

The INEC should carefully review the report provided by various election observers, including the EU, to gain a comprehensive understanding.

Mmesoma asserts that her result was printed directly from the official JAMB portal.

Earlier this week, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) disclosed that Mmesoma had manipulated her UTME result by forging a text message sent to her from JAMB.

Dr Fabian Benjamin, the spokesperson for JAMB, explained in an exclusive interview that Mmesoma had tampered with the score of a 2021 UTME candidate named Asimiyu Mariam Omobolanle, changing it from 138 to 362 and appending her own bio to the result.

Dr Benjamin further revealed that Mmesoma’s actual UTME result, as received via SMS through the designated shortcode 55019, was 249. She had altered the message to mislead others into believing that her legitimate result was 362. Benjamin emphasized that his statements were based on JAMB’s investigation into the matter.

Panic as Tribunal admits EU’s final report faulting Tinubu’s victory

On Monday, the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) accepted the final report of the European Union Election Observer Mission as evidence. The report criticized the conduct and outcome of the 2023 presidential election, which resulted in the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and others.

The report was presented by Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25 presidential election. Despite strong objections from President Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the report was admitted as an exhibit.

According to the European Union Election Observer Mission, the presidential election conducted by INEC lacked credibility, fairness, and transparency. The report highlighted concerns about the manner in which the election was conducted.

According to the report presented by INEC’s sole witness and Director of Information Technology (IT), Lawrence Bayode, only 31% of the presidential election results were uploaded to INEC’s result viewing portal.

Read Also 15 people trapped as four-storey building collapses in Abuja

Bayode admitted in his opening statement that the electoral body does not have an electronic collation system for election results, so the presidential election result was not electronically collated.

The INEC witness specifically admitted that the collation of presidential election results was done manually by the electoral body’s presiding officers.

Under cross-examination by Atiku Abubakar’s lead counsel, Chris Uche (SAN), the witness admitted that, as of March 1, 2023, when Tinubu was declared and returned as the winner of the February 25 presidential election, not all of the presidential election results had been uploaded into INEC’s results viewing centre.

While the witness told the court that there was a technical glitch that affected the uploading of the presidential election results, the witness admitted under cross-examination that the INEC did not report such a glitch to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Under cross-examination by Wole Olanipekun (SAN), President Tinubu’s lead Counsel, the witness told the court that Form EC8A served as the basis for the election results and that data and network service were required for the upload of the images of the results captured by the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) machine.

He also testified that images captured on BVAS, whether transmitted electronically or manually, will not jeopardise the election’s integrity, particularly when results entered into Form EC8As are announced to the hearing and knowledge of party agents.

In response to another question from Olanipekun, the INEC Director stated that the presidential election results announced on February 25 in favour of Tinubu were free, fair, transparent, and in substantial compliance with the provisions of the law.

Under cross-examination by Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), lead counsel for the APC, the witness admitted that glitches occurred on election day but claimed that the glitches had no effect on the final results and scores of candidates.

INEC closed its defence in the petition filed by the former Vice President against Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the February 25 presidential election with one witness and four documents tendered.

Meanwhile, President Tinubu has been ordered by the Presiding Justice of the Presidential Election Petition Court, Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani, to begin defending his presidential election victory on Tuesday, June 4, 2023.

Court takes final decision on Chimaroke Nnamani’s expulsion from PDP for supporting Tinubu

A Federal High Court in Abuja overturned the expulsion of former Enugu State Governor Chimaroke Nnamani from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for alleged anti-party activities.

According to a ruling by Justice James Omotosho, Nnamani was not given a fair hearing in accordance with the PDP’s constitution.

In accordance with Article 57 of the PDP’s constitution, only the National Executive Council (NEC) has the authority to convene a disciplinary committee, not the National Working Committee (NWC), which made the decision.

The judge stated that the party’s constitution stipulated that the NEC possessed the authority to take disciplinary action against any erring governor, deputy governor, or serving member of the National Assembly.

Nnamani, who represented Enugu East Senatorial District in the 9th Senate, lost his re-election bid on February 25 to Labour Party candidate Kelvin Chukwu, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

At its 566th meeting on February 10, the PDP NWC expelled the former senator over allegations of anti-party activities.

PDP expels Chimaroke Nnamani, 6 others

On January 20, he was suspended before subsequently being expelled.

Nnamani allegedly campaigned for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu, against the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

As per NAN, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Tinubu the winner of the February 25 presidential election after he received the most votes, and he was sworn in as Nigeria’s president on May 29.

In a suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/163/23 filed on February 6, however, Nnamani alleged that INEC, the PDP national chairman, and the NWC had violated his constitutional right to a fair hearing.

In the initial summons, the plaintiff questioned whether he could be suspended without being afforded his constitutional right to a fair hearing.

He wanted the court to determine, based on the provisions of the party’s Article 57, that the NWC’s decision to suspend him on January 20 was not invalid.

Therefore, he petitioned the court to rule that, pursuant to the party’s constitution, the respondents did not conduct a valid disciplinary action against him prior to his suspension.

Nnamani argued that in addition to being a senator, he had also served as governor of Enugu State for two terms.

He claimed he was neither informed of any complaint against him nor afforded a fair hearing.

In a counter-affidavit and a preliminary objection, however, the respondents requested dismissal of the lawsuit.

They argued that Nnamani campaigned for another political party while he was a PDP member.

Contrary to his argument, they stated that the party had the authority to suspend him for engaging in anti-party activities.

They also argued that the court lacked the authority to decide on the issues because they involved the party’s internal affairs.

Justice Omotosho stated that although the Supreme Court held that the issue of party membership, etc. was within the party’s jurisdiction and a no-go area for the courts, Section 46(2) of the 1999 Constitution vested the court with the authority to hear claims of violation of individual rights.

He used previous cases to support his conclusion.

“This court will not delve into the internal affairs of a party, but will instead determine whether the plaintiff’s fundamental rights have been violated,” he said.

Despite the fact that these rights are not absolute, Chapter 4 of the Nigerian Constitution of 1999 protects them, and the African Charter on the Rights of the People also contains provisions for fundamental rights, he stated.

The judge agreed that a member of a political party must adhere to its rules and regulations; however, he stated that the court would only intervene if the party violated its own rules and regulations.

He remarked that Articles 4 and 5 of the PDP stipulated members’ right to a fair hearing.

According to him, a fair hearing is providing equal opportunity to all parties, and once a party has received a fair hearing, he or she cannot file a complaint.

“However, the plaintiff’s complaint is that he was not given a fair hearing,” he said, citing Article 57 of the party’s constitution.

“The law makes it clear that specific provisions take precedence over general ones,” he said.

At its 566th meeting, the NWC considered all of the allegations against Nnamani and approved his one-month suspension, according to the available evidence before the court, he stated.

In addition, the judge noted that the NWC expelled him on February 10 via a press release.

According to Omotosho, this was a flagrant violation of the party’s constitution, which rendered all actions null and void.

He stated that the court was convinced the plaintiff had proven his case against the defendants.
