NAF Trainer Aircraft Crashes in Kaduna, Pilots Unhurt.

 

In an unfortunate incident, a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Super Mushshak trainer aircraft crashed in Kaduna on Thursday afternoon. The Mushshak aircraft went down at approximately 2:35 pm, according to a statement from NAF spokesman Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet.

Despite the severity of the crash, the statement reassured that no casualties were recorded as both pilots managed to escape unharmed. The accident occurred around 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna Military Airfield, involving two pilots who were returning from a routine training flight.

In response to the incident, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, swiftly ordered a preliminary investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

 

“The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has since directed for a preliminary investigation to ascertain the immediate cause of the crash,” the statement further conveyed.
