An old photograph of Princess Islamiyat Oyefusi, the Lagos State Deputy Governorship Candidate of labour party for the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial election has surfaced.
Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial social media user, posted the photograph, which has since gone viral.
Nigerians, on the other hand, have come to Oyefusi’s defence.
Olunloyo posted a photo of the politician smoking shisha, calling her leadership abilities into question.

“Deputy Governorship Candidate in Lagos State,” she captioned the photo.
Many people took to her comment section to defend Princess Oyefusi, arguing that one’s past does not disqualify them from leadership positions.
“I don’t know who this is, but Obama smoked marijuana in the past,” Stay with 1k wrote.
“If you’re without blemish, cast the first stone,” Adeoluwa Olamide wrote.
“It’s clear you’re anti-LP,” wrote Amadklassichic. With all of these antagonistic behaviours, you continue to demonstrate how shallow your mind is. Shame!”

Meanwhile, as of the time of this report, Oyefusi had not responded to the photograph.
