Chief Augustine Ogedegbe of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been elected Council Chairman of Ethiope East. This announcement follows the official declaration by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) returning officer, Dr. Mamuyovwi Odia, at Isiokolo.

Chief Ogedegbe emerged victorious with an impressive total of over 37,000 votes, significantly outpacing his closest competitor, Chief Oshivire of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered over 3,000 votes.
