Delta Government Releases 2024 Primary Six Examination Results, 2,499 failed
The Delta State Government (DTSG) has announced the results of the 2024 Cognitive and Placement Examination (Primary Six Examination), which was conducted on May 25, 2024.
In a statement from the Permanent Secretary of the Ministries of Primary and Secondary Education, Mr. Augustine Oghoro, on behalf of the State Commissioner for Primary Education, Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu, it was revealed that a total of 118,827 learners registered for the examination.

The statement noted that 117,348 candidates attended and sat for the examination. Out of these, 115,049 passed, while 2,499 failed.
Mr. Oghoro further explained that the performance of the candidates was categorized as follows: 24% achieved distinction, 63% earned merit, and 9% received a pass. The statement advised candidates to check their results by visiting deltastatemobse.net/ using the scratch card they purchased and registered with for the examination.

The statement also reiterated that those who failed the examination would have to repeat the class when school resumes in September 2024.
