The National leadership of the Social Political Group, Delta Coalition For Change (DCC). In their stakeholders meeting held yesterday in Asaba, frowned at the disgraceful display of shame by Chief John Oyegun and Chief O'tega Emerhor.
According to the National Chairman of the group, Comr. Emeka Enebeli, the group was formed by Deltans from all walks of life, people of integrity who want to see a better Delta for our generation and generations to come. We work with any political party at any point in time, as long as their ideologies and policies are in the best interest of Deltans in general.
The National Chairman, while advising APC faithful in Delta State, to be firm and steadfast in their collective resolve to liberate the state from the strong satanic grip of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), issued a very strong warning to the duo of the Party's National Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun and Chief O'tega Emerhor, the 2015 Guber Candidate of the party, on their recent anti party activities and plot to cause division in the party, to aid Okowa and PDP in Delta State.
The Chairman Comr. Emake Enebeli, advised members
of the party and all true progressives in the state to remain calm and go about their normal businesses. According to him, they should not even bother themselves about the fake rumours making rounds, that the Cyril Ogodo led illegal list of Exco compiled by O'tega Emerhor, ha been adopted by the NWC.
"I know some of you might be troubled with the recent wave of a concocted letter of the adoption of a state exco list, that was obtained from an illegally constituted congress committee. My people, this should not bother you at all, this whole trash you read about, is nothing but a show of shame by our National Chairman, John Odigie Oyegun and Chief Otega Emerhor, whose only stock in trade is to trade-in the integrity of our great party for money"
According to Comr. Enebeli, it is no news that Chief Otega Emerhor, has been working hand-in-hand with Chief Oyegun to obtain money from the opposition party to sell our elections. This they did in 2015 and are planning to repeat again in 2019, unfortunately, the APC today is not the same as the APC they traded with in 2015, it's not going to be business as usual, he said.
It would be recalled that several allegations have been laid on Chief Otega Emerhor, accusing him of selling out in elections, the most recent was from a fellow Guber Candidate in 2015, Comr. Eselemo Collins, who challenged Chief Emerhor to an open debate on Channels TV, if he denies not collecting some millions of dollars from PDP, to sell the 2015 Presidential and Gubernatorial Elections.
It was gathered that, Chief Oyegun and Chief O'tega Emerhor, are trying to ensure they put in their illegal Exco in place to aid their usual election selling business, but they have failed woefully.
Also responding to questions from our news crew, Comr. Friday Igiebor, the PRO of the group said, "You can not sack the chairman of a congress committee, after the congress and declare the Congress results null and void and then you approve the result of a secretary that was indicted by the DSS and the Police for stealing the congress sensitive materials and absconded to Port Harcourt to prepare results without holding congresses, this is a clear evidence that Chief Oyegun is up to something mischievous"
It is a pity, and very unfortunate that Chief Oyegun and Chief Otega failed to realise we are no more in the reign of PDP, where impunity rules. "Chief Oyegun thinks because he signed the death papers of a living candidate while PDP was in power and he got away with it, therefore he can still do and undo. I pity him, because this time around, he will definitely meet his waterloo" Comr. Igiebor said.
The Chairman of the group, advised all true progressives in Delta State, to remain calm and ignore their failed antics and scheming, as he believes it will all end up in futility.
"As for you Chief Oyegun, it is obvious you have sold your conscience to the devil. And you are hell bent on bringing PMB and APC down, just for a house in Lagos, a black SUV, that you gave to your son, which he uses right now and a regular boosting of your bank accounts, by O'tega Emerhor, from the proceeds of your anti party deals with Okowa and the awards of illegal NDDC contracts. I have nothing to say, than to tell you to enjoy the money and affluence from your illegal and anti party activities while they last. But I can assure u, it won't be long, before the arm of the law catches up with you. And you will be disgraced like a common criminal" the Chairman said.
As for Chief O'tega Emerhor, the group assured him that, this may mark the beginning of the end of his political career. Recent social media stories have it that the EFCC is already beaming their search light on him and Engr. Adjogbe, the NDDC Executive Director of Projects, who is said to be Emerhor's cousin, a full fledge PDP card carrying member, nominated into the commission by Chief O'tega Emerhor, for selfish reasons and to operate the NDDC like Private owned Enterprise. But the Chairman assured the people that, the EFCC will soon close up on Chief Emerhor and Chief Sam Adjogbe for those contracts awarded to Chief Emerhor's sons Inlaw and other immediate family members and cronies. The first was #500M contract awarded to Chief Emerhor's second daughter's husband and the recent was a whooping #1.3B contracts awarded to another of Chief Emerhor son in-law and many more, which are already in the searchlight of the efcc.
A few weeks ago, in a meeting held at Chief Emerhor's Evwreni home, it was reported that Chief Emerhor boasted that he have bought the NWC member over, he even demanded Ten Million Naira each from some of the Guber Aspirants, who are with him, he told them he would use the money to buy the congress committee members, sent down to Delta, by the NWC, he said he has already arranged it with Chief Oyegun, who he claimed is working with him to achieve it.
According to reports, some of the Aspirants paid in full, while some like Chief Osiobe Okotie paid Five Million naira only, while Engr. Victor Ochei was reported to have paid a whooping #30M. According to a source close to Engr. Ochei, the money is already causing some kind of rift between his boss and Chief Otega Emerhor because his boss is not satisfied with the results achieved from the whole game plan. He said Engr. Ochei is suspecting a faul play from Chief Emerhor.
The group assured members of the party that all their efforts derail the congress processes and hijack the results, will all be in vain. "That illegally obtained congress exco list, can not hold, because we have made all arrangements on ground to address that in a competent court of law. We have chosen a competent team to lead us to victory. You can't Change it and put your team of political traders in place to sell our 2019 fortunes and the destinies of the entire Deltans to Okowa" the chairman reiterated.
It would be recalled that, in 2015, it was the same Cyril Ogodo, that Chief O'tega Emerhor used to forge documents, declaring a living APC house of Reps Candidate, Mr. Christopher Anirah, dead while alive. And Chief Oyegun appended his signature to it and sent it to INEC for the candidate to be replaced. Now this same Cyril Ogodo, a perpetual sellout and one of Chief Emerhor's cronies and accomplices in anti party politics, is the one they are both parading and planning to illegally declare the Delta State Chairman of APC, very unfortunate. The group chairman described their plan to declare Mr Ogodo as dead on arrival. "we can assure you this your plan is already dead on arrival, because we will resist it in its entirety" the chairman said.
"You can be in control of the NWC, display your impunity in APC, but we can assure you, not in a court of law. Mr. Lawlessness, don't forget your tenure expires this month and your reign o impunity will be over. See you in court then" He cautioned Chief Oyegun.
