Cross River State Governor, Bassey Edet Otu, Dr Betta Edu as Director of Finance and Fundraising for the Bassey Otu/Peter Odey 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Campaign Council.

 

Edu’s appointment places her among the directors overseeing the campaign council’s activities ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Cross River State.

 

The campaign council comprises 43 directorates and 4,412 members drawn from the state’s 18 local government areas.

 

The appointment comes shortly after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu named Edu as Director of Women Mobilisation for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, giving her responsibilities in both the state and national campaign structures ahead of the general elections.
