The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has declared what he described as divine judgment against bandits and their alleged sponsors.

The cleric made the declaration during a sermon themed “Covenant Day of Vengeance” at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.

 

Ejes Gist News reports that the remarks were delivered amid ongoing security concerns in parts of Nigeria affected by kidnapping and banditry.

Seven-Day Warning Issued

Speaking to congregants, Oyedepo stated that those responsible for killings and abductions would face divine consequences within seven days.

“I declare judgment on those behind these tragedies and their sponsors in the name of Jesus,” he said.

“Unless I am not sent, this will come to pass within the next seven days.”

The statement forms part of the church’s broader emphasis on spiritual intervention in addressing national challenges.
