  • Once I See That Anyone I Am Doing Business With Cheats On Their Spouse, I Don

     Osaretin Victor Asemota

Osaretin Victor Asemota, the Nigerian Tech entrepreneur, has stated that he loses trust for anyone he does business with once they start cheating on their spouses.

In a post shared on X, Osaretin opined that if one could cheat on their spouses, they could also cheat partners in business.

    Read his interesting submission below…

”Jay’s (not his real name) father was a well known religious figure. The family is wealthy and he married into another wealthy family. His wife was gorgeous and accomplished but he had one weakness. He slept with maids and househelps in our estate. I was shocked when I found out.

It was a perversion and he was a sex predator but he didn’t see it that way. He genuinely felt that it was some form of benevolence. He would argue with the bible and show how Abraham and others were truly polygamous and I later discovered that his father had secret families.

Cheating on a spouse was not a new thing in his family and it seemed that the women all knew and accommodated this indiscretion. I started looking into my own family too and it was also very common. I have been used by uncles to transport their girlfriends and met secret families

One relative was a federal permanent secretary whose wife and daughters discovered that he had another family with five sons in Lagos for 25 years. It still didn’t make it right and I was never comfortable with it.

I have seen polygamy where it works and where it doesn’t.

One of my father’s uncles had four wives and considered my father a fool for having only one. The problem was that there was always constant chaos in his household. His most senior wife was my mother’s cousin and she was a very unhappy woman. The children were unhappy too.

I liked our simpler arrangement at home until I discovered that my father was cheating on my mother too.

It was with a woman who owned a place he took us to go and eat regularly. It made my mother miserable and caused quarrels. He eventually broke up with her and I remembered.

My father married 4 other women after my mother left him eventually and he never found happiness because he told me so. He told me that the biggest mistake I would ever make was to find a good woman and lose her as he did with my mother. They were never divorced but separated.

They were very much in love and saw each other weekly when my mother still lived in Nigeria. They just could never live together as my father could not stop seeing other women. It used to puzzle me until I met my friend Oladipo “Dipo” Oke during our NYSC year in Lagos.

Dipo was a fine boy and a player. He was loved by many and he shocked us by deciding to get married at age 22.

His decision was simple, he had seen that infidelity and promiscuity was an addiction that people find hard to break and it was better that he never formed the habit.

He always told me that it wasn’t something that you suddenly switch off after getting married and that was why most men never stop. If you were always promiscuous, you will continue to be so even within marriage. This was very true and I saw that with my family members.

He learned from his own family too and decided to settle down when he met someone he loved. She was also 22 and much more mature than all of us then. She knew what she wanted as well.

Their union was rare because it wasn’t because he knocked her up or was forced.

Most early marriages I knew at the time were because of pregnancy. My parents also got married because my mother was pregnant with me. Dipo’s case was different. It was purely for love.

I learned the hard way about addiction to promiscuity because I was hooked on it for years.

I had to go cold turkey for 19 months from Mekwe before I was sure that I could get married and not cheat. It was one of the most trying periods of my life.

In those 19 months, I learned that promiscuity was a double edged sword. Women loved Mekwe too and wanted a lot of it.

Women could be as devious as men when it comes to sexual conquests as well. Because I was deliberately celibate, I became a prize to be won. They tried harder than I ever expected to get me to break it. I couldn’t believe it. From colleagues to friends, I was harassed.

I was accused of being homosexual and impotent. I was called all sorts of names and I stood my ground because it became a spiritual test and not just about will power. I learned a lot about myself and temptation in that period. I learned that our biggest problems come from habit.

I read something recently that the thing you become tomorrow comes from your daily habits today and it is very true.

Once I gave up the habit of promiscuity, I replaced it with work. I did a lot better and my net worth grew. I didn’t realize how much time I had devoted to Mekwe.

The danger of habit is that we make excuses for it and rationalize our choices. The guy Jay who was sleeping with househelps found it logical instead of it being predatory. He even used the bible to justify his position. He was a weak man and he is still a weak man till today.

Infidelity doesn’t make you macho or strong. It just means you don’t have a moral compass and can’t be trusted.

Once I see that anyone I am doing business with cheats on their spouse, I don’t trust them anymore. They could do it to me too. It is a weakness.

  • US Election 2024 Update: How Americans Elect Their President as Candidate With Highest Vote May Not Win

US Election 2024 Update: How Americans Elect Their President as Candidate With Highest Vote May Not Win

The U.S. presidential election system can be complex, as candidates compete not only for the popular vote but also for the electoral college vote, which ultimately determines the winner. This system sometimes allows a candidate who receives fewer popular votes nationwide to win the presidency. Here’s how it works:

    1. Electoral College System: U.S. citizens vote for electors in each state who then cast votes for the president. Each state’s number of electoral votes equals its total representation in Congress (the House and Senate). For example, large states like California have 55 votes, while smaller states like Wyoming have only 3.

    2. Winner-Takes-All: Most states use a “winner-takes-all” system, meaning the candidate who wins the most votes in that state secures all its electoral votes. This approach amplifies the impact of winning key “swing states” or battleground states, like Florida or Pennsylvania, which can tip the scales in a close election.

    3. 270-Vote Requirement: There are 538 electoral votes in total, so a candidate needs a minimum of 270 to win. If no candidate reaches this threshold, the election is decided by the House of Representatives, with each state casting one vote, regardless of its population size.

    4. Historical Precedent: In five elections (1824, 1876, 1888, 2000, and 2016), the electoral college produced a president who did not win the popular vote. This can happen if a candidate wins several states by narrow margins, accumulating electoral votes despite losing the nationwide popular tallynd States in 2024**: As seen in the tight race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, candidates focus heavily on battleground states, where outcomes are uncertain, to gain crucial electoral votes.

This process underscores the significance of strategic campaigning and the influence of individual states in U.S. elections, shaping the country’s political landscape even if it means the popular vote winner does not always secure the presidency.

Antony joined Man United on the recommendation of Ten Hag over two years ago.

The Red Devils signed the Brazilian international in a £85 million deal from Ajax.

But the 24-year-old has failed to live up to expectations at Old Trafford.

He scored just four goals in his first season and managed just one contribution last season.

However, Antony has scored just one goal for United so far this season.

  • Why We’re Probing Gay Claims Against Youth Pastors – RCCG

     RCCG

The Redeemed Christian Church of God has explained its decision to investigate allegations of sodomy against two of its youth pastors.

The National Overseer of the church, Pastor Sunday Akande, who spoke to Sunday PUNCH, said the case was unprecedented, hence the church was ready to give it the necessary attention.

Akande said a panel had been set up to investigate the allegations against the pastors, adding that appropriate action would be taken.

He said, “The reason for the suspension is to also allow persons who were said to have been molested or harassed to come forward and testify against the pastors. To the best of my knowledge, nobody has come forward yet as a victim of harassment.

“This is the first time an allegation like this has been raised against the church. If we see anything like this, the church will investigate it and see how we can address it. As far as the church is concerned, we don’t condone this kind of thing.”

A controversial news blog, Gistlovers, had last week called out two youth pastors of the church for allegedly luring teenage boys into homos*xuality.

The blog also accused them of negatively influencing teenagers under their mentorship.

According to the blog, a 20-year-old boy, who requested anonymity, claimed the youth pastors “influenced many into being gay.”

“This gist is not complete without naming, a very close friend of (the youth pastor) and also a former coordinator in the teens’ church at RCCG Region 2 (they were both coordinators). He was raising young boys in his former house at U-turn and he slept with all these boys, and they were even holding fake Bible study just to create a meeting point for this brostitution,” a post by the blog read.

One of the accused, in a statement, said he had never sodomised or had s*x with any male teenager.

“I have never demanded s*x from any male as payment or gratification in order to give them assistance, platforms, or positions. God is the only kingmaker, the only one who can raise and erase kings, give positions, and platforms,” he stated.

On alleged screenshots of a conversation with an alleged victim, he said he asked questions “during a conversation in a male teenagers’ WhatsApp group where discussions regarding male reproductive health and self-esteem took place.”

According to him, the teenagers were taught about proper hygiene for reproductive health, the right kind of underwear to buy, and that the girth and length determine the underwear size.

“I also explained that their sizes should not affect their self-esteem and that they are perfectly and uniquely created by God.”

However, the church suspended the two men at the centre of the drama.

In a letter dated Monday, October 28, the church said the suspension was by its commitment to uphold the teachings of the Bible.

Meanwhile, the family of one of the pastors has filed a petition to the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Alagbon, against Gistlover for defamation of character.

The family in the petition signed by their counsel, Adekunle Adeyinka; called for the investigation of the blog, insisting that the allegations were unfounded and had caused their son “emotional trauma and has put their security at risk from attacks by these faceless individuals.”

  • We’re Committed To Ending Power Outage In Enugu – Mainpower MD, Mupwaya

We’re Committed To Ending Power Outage In Enugu – Mainpower MD, Mupwaya

The Managing Director, Mainpower Electricity Distribution Limited, MEDL, Ernest Mupwaya, has committed to improving power supply in Enugu State.

Mupwaya recently disclosed this to journalists after MEDL took over from its mother company, Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc, EEDC.

He emphasised the importance of collaboration with customers and stakeholders, highlighting the new electricity law and the establishment of the Enugu State Electricity Regulatory Commission (EERC) as key steps towards unlocking the sector’s potential and ensuring reliable power supply.

This comes as the company said it targets reducing aggregate technical, commercial, and collection (ATC&C) losses to 25 percent within 12 months by installing smart meters in the state.

“The company’s transformation plan focuses on reducing aggregate technical, commercial, and collection (ATC&C) losses to 25% within 12 months by installing smart meters, starting with high-loss zones and government institutions.

“Public awareness campaigns and mobile courts will combat energy theft,” Mupwaya stated, while also emphasising the importance of partnerships with communities, government agencies, and stakeholders to address non-payment issues and build trust.

He added that to improve customer experience, “Mainpower is deploying modern Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and establishing 24/7 service response teams in Enugu and Nsukka to quickly resolve faults.

“Infrastructure upgrades, including smart grid technology and the installation of auto-reclosers and sectionalizers, will further enhance efficiency. The company is also acquiring new tools to support fast delivery service and increase customer satisfaction.

“Looking ahead, Mainpower plans to provide uninterrupted electricity to priority clusters such as urban centres and government hubs, with a phased expansion to residential areas by 2028.”

Mupwaya urged customers to report grievances through designated channels and warned against illegal activities like metre bypassing, which could result in prosecution.

He concluded by appealing for continued support from customers and stakeholders, expressing optimism that operational excellence, financial sustainability, and stakeholder engagement would position Mainpower as a model for success in the power sector.

“With everyone’s cooperation, we are confident that Enugu State will witness a transformation in power supply.

“We are here to deliver, and we want our customers to hold us accountable,” Mupwaya added.

  • Hardship: We Can No Longer Feed – FCT Residents Cry Out

     FCT Residents

Numerous residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) report struggling to afford food due to soaring prices of essential items.

The residents also lamented further increase in transportation fares following the hike in the petrol pump price.

They spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, on Sunday in Abuja.

According to them, the increased fuel price had left residents grappling with the harsh realities of rising living costs.

The residents said their once manageable budget had spiralled into a daily struggle, primarily due to soaring food prices and transportation fares.

They appealed to the Federal Government and relevant authorities to take immediate action in addressing these issues.

Mrs Maryam Abu, a mother of three, said she often sat at her kitchen table these days with frustration, staring at an empty pot.

“Last year, I could buy a bag of rice for N50,000 and now, it is more than N100,000. How can I feed my children?

“With my husband’s salary barely keeping pace with inflation, I often have to choose between meals and essential household items,’’ she said.

For Mrs Ekaite Obot, a civil servant and a mother of four, the situation is no any better as she said she had not been able to drive to work or church for the past five months.

“For over five months now, I have not moved my car from the garage because I can no longer afford to fuel or maintain the vehicle.

“The times are really tough for my family. All the family expenses have been on me since my husband was relieved of his job as a sales representative.

“I struggle to pay school fees, get household items and feed the family and with this increasing cost of items , I do not think we can continue to survive on my mini income,’’ Obot said.

Another civil servant, Mrs Mary Umeh, while decrying the increased cost of living, said her saving grace was the contribution (adashi) she was doing at work with some colleagues.

“We have several platforms where we contribute money monthly and at the end of the year, we use the money to buy various household items.

“It is almost Christmas now and I do not have any savings, but I am not worried because I know that we will soon use our adashi money to buy some household items.

“I am sure my family will be able to manage the items and I will just need little money to buy other things for the Christmas celebration,’’ she said.

Similarly, Mr Albert Nwakama, a trader, decried his inability to fend for his family due to low sales of his fairly-used clothing business, popularly known as “okrika” or second hand wears.

Nwakama said he used to open new bail of wears every two to three weeks, but in the past six months, he could barely sell a bail of womens’ wears.

“I have not witnessed anything like this since I began this okrika business nine years ago. Many customers who used to buy my goods have stopped coming to my shop.

“Even some of those who used to give me money in advance to enable me open new bails now come to me to borrow money so they can feed their families.

“People are struggling to eat and care for their families and buying of new clothing is no longer a priority for families, thus, leaving people like me at a dilemma ,’’he said.

Mrs Nneka Azubuike, a teacher, said the increased cost of living in the country had turned her into a corporate beggar.

According to Azubuike, every kid from a well to do family in the class that I teach has become my friend because of my selfish reasons.

She said she paid more attention to pupils from wealthy homes because at the end of the day, their parents tend to appreciate her for her good deeds every now and then.

“I am aware this is unprofessional, but I have to take care of my child because I am a single mom. My salary is not enough to care for our needs.

“Also, I taught that with the Dangote refinery, fuel price will reduce and transportation will become affordable in the country, but the reverse is obviously the case.

“The government really needs to find a way to address this transportation issue because it is affecting every sector of the economy, especially food prices,’’ she said.

For a commuter like Ibrahim Idris, the surge in transportation fares was eating eating deep into his budget for other household necessities.

“I used to spend about N400 for commuting to the office every day, but now I pay between N900 and N1,000.

“I am finding it extremely difficult to keep up. I have cut down on most things, yet it is always difficult for me to get to work five times in a week,’’ he said.

Mr Sule Adams, a vendor, said his formerly booming business had now slowed as many families were now tightening their belts.

“We are having a noticeable decline in customers, and some who come to patronise us always want discounts, which we normally oblige them because we want to make sales.

“Most customers, who used to buy goods in large quantities and store in their homes, now buy less quantity. because of the increased cost.

“It is hard for us too; we have to pay for our supplies, and if people are not buying from us, we suffer because we have families also to take care of,’’ Adams said.

Also, Ms Christabel Nicholas, a small business owner, said she was facing an uphill battle as she had to choose between raising prices, displeasing customers, or absorbing the high costs.

“I have had to increase my prices due to the high cost of the items in the market, but my regulars are complaining. It is really a tough decision.

“We need government intervention to overcome this situation because Nigerians are sick, hungry, suffering and dying,’’ she said.

  • Ondo Guber: Labour Party Berates Channels TV For Limiting Debate To Only APC, PDP

Ondo Guber: Labour Party Berates Channels TV For Limiting Debate To Only APC, PDP

The Ondo State chapter of the Labour Party (LP), has condemned the move by Channels Television to restrict the planned governorship election debate to only two political parties.

While stressing that the media outfit was ill-advised, Labour Party maintained that the decision was not the representation of reality in the state.

The Director of Publicity, Labour Party Campaign Organisation, Johnson Egbodofo, who berated the organisers for limiting the live debate to candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, explained that the LP as a party had drawn the attention of the organisers to the error while they promised to make amends, but nothing was done.

Egbodofo disclosed that the portrayal of the standard-bearers of the APC and PDP as two leading candidates ahead of the November 16 governorship election was a ploy to manipulate the choices of the people.

“The attention of the Labour Party and its candidates in the Ondo State Governorship Election scheduled for the 16th day of November 2024 has been drawn to an advert by Channels Television of its planned live debate on Sunday, 3rd November 2024, for candidates of the ruling APC and PDP, which Channels ill-advisedly described as the two leading candidates in the election.

“As a media-friendly organisation and personalities, we took immediate steps to contact CHANNELS and its officials, particularly Seun Okinbaloye, who is the anchor of the debate, not to use the station’s authoritative media status to mislead but to accord the people of Ondo State and the station’s global audience the opportunities of a fair assessment of the status of the political parties and quality of the candidates for the election.”

     Bobrisky

Idris Okuneye, the Nigerian crossdresser, who is popularly known as Bobrisky, was released on bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday after being detained while attempting to leave the country amid allegations of bribing EFCC officials.

The controversial cross-dresser was stopped from boarding an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos late Thursday night, while intending to travel to London.

Bobrisky quickly took to social media to inform his followers of his arrest, stating that he sustained injuries in the process. He wrote, “Nigerians, help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”

He was flown to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja, where he faced interrogation concerning allegations of bribery within the commission.

A voice note shared by social critic Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, alleged that Bobrisky had paid EFCC officials N15 million to have money laundering charges against him dropped.

Reports indicated that Bobrisky secured his bail late on Friday night and was subsequently released.

EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale confirmed his release to Sunday PUNCH on Saturday, though he declined to offer further comments.

A source familiar with the case, however, disclosed to the newspaper that Bobrisky denied all bribery allegations in his official statement.

The source also mentioned that Bobrisky challenged VeryDarkMan to provide proof.

“He denied everything about releasing money to any official as a bribe to drop the money laundering charges against him. He denied it in his statement.

“He said the fellow who posted the voice note should come over to justify it. He said nobody requested money from him in the EFCC and he didn’t give anyone anything,” the source was quoted to have said.

The detained female was removed from the cell where she was kept to the administration unit of the cell where the now dismissed officer Abraham, drugged her and had carnal knowledge of her.

The victim was aged seventeen as of the time of the incident.

Sources familiar with the issue told SaharaReporters that after witnessing the incident, the police divisional officer was contacted, same as the station officer and one Inspector Inah Yibala.

It was however gathered that the DPO, SP Osemwegie Lilian, failed to act on the incident by reporting to appropriate authorities up until five days after the incident took place.

Sources told SaharaReporters that Edith was asked not to file the case immediately but she did, a development that angered the Ibie Divisional Police Officer, Lilian, when she resumed the next day.

It was also understood that Inspector Edith was pressurised to drop the issue by the DPOs of Ibie Police station, Jataau and Auchi.

It was gathered that when the DPO did not act, Edith reached out to a Personal Assistant to the police commissioner, to report the incident. She was asked to go to the area command to report.

Our source confirmed the development, telling SaharaReporters that the case was reported to the personal assistant to the commissioner.

“It was the personal assistant to the police commissioner that informed the commissioner, after the DPO failed to do so.

“It was after the commissioner got aware that the DPO wrote a signal saying she was never informed.”

SaharaReporters understands that after the policeman molested the detained female, the victim was freed immediately by the Police unit at Ibie police station with no attempt to take her for medical care.

It was also gathered that the victim was pressurised by the police authorities to change her statement.

Confirming the development, a source stated that there were several pressures on Edith to change her statement in order not to disgrace the police force.

Edith, while confirming the incident, denied posting the video on social media, she however confirmed that the police informed her of her impending dismissal.

A statement seen by SaharaReporters showed that the incident was not reported to the Police headquarters in Edo until October 12th, after the video of the incident had gone viral on social media.

When contacted, the police Public Relations Officer in Edo State, Moses Yamu accused Edith of receiving bribes of N45,000 from Abraham who had carnal knowledge of the victim, he also accused her of demanding another N1 million instead of reporting the case.

He also confirmed that the Police officer involved in the sexual molestation had been dismissed.

Edith however denied collecting any bribes.

It was gathered from reliable sources that an officer, Inah Yibala, who also witnessed the case was the one who collected money from the arrant police officer and the money had been recovered.

“I never collected the money I am accused of. The DPO is just angry that the case got out especially as she retiring on 15th of November.”

Not just Edith, SaharaReporters understands that the police authorities went as far as demoting Edith’s husband because according to the authorities, he was in the know of the case.

Presidency Defends Tinubu’s Nepotistic Appointments in 22 Security Agencies as South-East, South-South Secure Only One Slot Each

Presidency Defends Tinubu’s Security Appointments Amid Criticisms of Nepotism.

The Presidency, through Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Public Communication and Orientation, Sunday Dare, has defended recent security appointments amid accusations of nepotism and ethnic bias.

Critics have argued that the appointments predominantly favor the South-West, particularly the Yoruba ethnic group, sparking debate over equitable representation across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones.

The criticisms intensified following the recent appointment of Major General Olufemi Oluyede as the Acting Chief of Army Staff. In response, Dare provided a detailed breakdown of the appointments, noting that while the South-West indeed holds prominent roles, the North has a significant presence in the security apparatus.

Breakdown of Regional Representation in Security Roles

According to Dare, of the 22 major security positions, 15 are held by Northern representatives while 7 positions are allocated to the South. The North-West leads with eight roles, followed by the North-Central with four and North-East with three. In the South, the South-West holds five slots, while South-East and South-South each secure one position.

Among the notable positions in the South-West are key roles like the Chief of Army Staff, as well as heads of the Nigerian Police Force, DSS, Customs, and EFCC. Conversely, the North-West, which holds the highest regional share, oversees significant posts, including the Ministry of Defence, Defence Headquarters, and the Nigerian Air Force. Dare’s statement suggests that this distribution aims to maintain a balance in the national security structure.

    Specific Roles by Region

Dare also detailed how other regions are represented:

    • South-East: Leads the Nigerian Navy.
    • South-South: Heads the Defence Intelligence Agency.
    • North-East: Holds the positions of National Security Adviser and leadership of the NDLEA and NFIU.
    • North-Central: Manages the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and additional security agencies.

    Public Response and Continuing Discourse

The distribution has sparked public scrutiny over the perception of ethnic favoritism, with various groups questioning the balance in representation. However, Dare emphasized that the appointments are reflective of a broader national representation, despite the significant presence of the South-West in high-ranking roles.

As discussions continue, political analysts and stakeholders are watching closely for any adjustments or additional appointments that may address regional disparities in the country’s security leadership.

This matter remains a focal point of national debate, as observers weigh the government’s commitment to fair and inclusive representation within its security framework.

Aisha Suleiman, a 16-year-old girl, who is suspected of fatally poisoning her ex-boyfriend, Emmanuel, and four other young men in the Afashio community of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, has been arrested and detained.

Her detention was confirmed by the Edo State Police Command.

This tragedy, which has shaken the community, was discovered on the morning of October 26, when Emmanuel’s father, Mr. Elogie Ezekiel, found the lifeless bodies of the five victims in his son’s apartment.

Ezekiel reportedly arrived at Emmanuel’s home around 6:30 a.m. and was confronted with a devastating sight. The first body he discovered was that of Nurudeen, a young man found unresponsive in the corridor.

Upon entering the bedroom, he found his son, Emmanuel, 19, and Emmanuel’s girlfriend, Ada Samuel, also 16, lying together on the bed, both apparently lifeless. In the sitting room, two of Emmanuel’s friends and siblings, Samuel and Jeffrey Ayegwalo, were also discovered unresponsive. All five victims were rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead on arrival.

Community sources revealed that the group had recently consumed a pot of pepper soup reportedly prepared by Suleiman, leading to suspicion of deliberate poisoning.

Afeez Adegbala, a driver associated with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), has been arrested for allegedly diverting 10,000 litres of petrol designated for a company station in Osogbo. The arrest, made on Friday by personnel from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Osun State, also involved two motor boys accompanying Adegbala.

Parading the suspects, NSCDC State Commandant, Igbalawole Sotiyo, disclosed that the driver and his assistants were apprehended at about 8:21 pm with the NNPCL truck in their possession. According to Sotiyo, the truck initially loaded 40,000 litres of petrol from the Pinnacle Distribution Depot in Eleko, Lagos, bound for an NNPCL mega station in Osogbo. However, only 30,000 litres were delivered to the intended location.

Adegbala was subsequently intercepted while attempting to offload the remaining 10,000 litres at TEMPOLA filling station in Ikirun, located in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.

“It is an act of sabotage and stealing against the state. They are saboteurs and anti-state,” Sotiyo stated, emphasizing that the NSCDC is committed to addressing such acts of diversion within the petroleum supply chain. He issued a stern warning to all stakeholders involved in distributing petroleum products, stressing that any actions undermining government resources would lead to arrest and prosecution.

“NSCDC uses this medium to call on NNPCL managers and supervisors nationwide to collaborate with us in ensuring that those attempting to sabotage the government are brought to justice,” Sotiyo concluded.
