Delta Online Publishers Forum Hails Appointment of Prof. Obukoadata as DVC, Academics at Southern Delta University

Asaba, Nigeria – The Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) has formally congratulated Professor Presly Ogheneruke Obukoadata on his appointment as the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) of Southern Delta University, Ozoro, Delta State.

 

The Forum, in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Amb. Ehvwubare Oghenekparobo, ANIPR, FIMC, described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of an erudite scholar and seasoned academic whose contributions to education and media development remain invaluable.

 

Prof. Obukoadata, widely respected for his intellectual depth and administrative acumen, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. DOPF expressed strong confidence that his leadership would significantly enhance teaching standards, research output, and academic administration at the burgeoning university.

The Forum particularly recalled the Professor’s impactful engagement with its members during the 2025 Annual Convention of the Delta Online Publishers Forum. At that event, he delivered insightful lectures on media entrepreneurship, equipping participants with practical strategies for growth in the digital publishing space.

 

“His session at our 2025 convention remains a reference point for many media practitioners,” the statement added.

 

DOPF further commended the management of Southern Delta University for prioritizing merit in appointing academic leaders, expressing optimism that the institution would witness remarkable academic advancement under Prof. Obukoadata’s stewardship.
