President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Zubaida Umar as the Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA). This announcement was made by Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, in a statement released on Friday.
In his directive, President Tinubu tasked the new Director General with the responsibility of restructuring the agency to become a performance-driven and proactive provider of emergency response services.
