The camp of Atiku Abubakar has revealed that the passport used by the impersonator of Peter Obi at the London airport was issued by the Nigerian Immigration.
According to Daniel Bwala, the spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 campaign organisation, an individual who impersonated Peter Obi at a London airport was allegedly issued a passport by the Nigerian Immigration.
In a tweet on Friday, Bwala, a legal practitioner, made an allegation stating that “the impersonator was issued the passport by the Nigerian Immigration”.
According to his statement, the Nigerian Immigration authority possesses the bio data and particulars of the impersonator.
The declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the winner of the 25th February election is being challenged by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
He wrote: One fact is clear, the impersonator was issued the passport by the Nigerian Immigration.They have his bio data and details about him. Peter Obi should sue the Nigerian government in court and compel them to smoke the man out and whoever may be using him for the smear campaign”.
