Nnamdi Kanu needs urgent surgery- Aloy Ejimakor, Counsel to IPOB leader says
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), requires immediate ear surgery.
Aloy Ejimakor, the secessionist’s special counsel, announced this via his official Twitter account on Thursday evening.

Following Kanu’s worsening health crisis, the Medical Unit of the Department of State Security Services, DSS, reportedly made the recommendation.
Aloy claimed that one of his colleagues, Barr Mandela Umegborogu, was informed of the development during his Thursday visit to Kanu at the DSS headquarters in Abuja.

“Today, my colleague Barr Mandela Umegborogu visited Onyendu #MNK at the DSS,” the tweet states.
“He informs me that Onyendu instructed me to inform the public that the DSS Medical Unit has recommended that he undergo emergency ear SURGERY.”
“But what remains is the formal approval of the DSS leadership”
