Wole Olanipekun, 49 lawyers set to defend Tinubu’s presidential victory in court
Wole Olanipekun and 49 other attorneys have offered to defend Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory before the Presidential Election Tribunal in the wake of the annulment of the February 25 presidential election in Nigeria.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) are dissatisfied with the announcement of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate as the winner of the February 25 election.

Tinubu received 8,794,726 votes to defeat Atiku and Obi, who received 6,984,520 and 6,101,026 votes, respectively.
Nonetheless, a number of attorneys have expressed an interest in defending Tinubu’s mandate in court and are currently awaiting Atiku and Obi’s petition.
