Catholic Diocese of Minna Announces Burial Date For Burn Priest, Isaac Achi
The Very Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kafin- Koro, in Paikoro local government Area of Niger State, who was burnt to death at his official residence on Sunday by suspected armed bandits, will be buried, according to the Catholic Diocese of Minna.
A copy of the notice, which was provided to the news media on Tuesday in Minna, was issued by the Diocesan Chancellor Secretariate Complex at St. Michael Catholic Cathedral in Bosso Minna and personally signed by the Diocese’s Chancellor, the Very Reverend Fr. Amanchukwu Emeka G.

Parts of the letter dated January 16 and addressed to Very Rev. Fr. Zechariah N. Sanjumi, Secretary General of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Durumi Abuja Federal Capital Territory, with the subject line: “Funeral Arrangement for Late Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi” read as follows:
“Greetings and blessings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ ( Amen). This is to inform you that, following appropriate consultation with the relevant authorities, the following date has been set for Father Achi Isaac’s wake and funeral mass.

The funeral mass and final interment will be held at St. Michael Catholic Cathedral in Bosso Minna on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 10:00 am, according to the statement.
