“I will deliver Ibom Deep Seaport, end Lagos monopoly” Tinubu assures
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pledged to utilise the immense natural resources of Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria for the general welfare.
If elected, he promised to deliver the Ibom Deep Seaport. He spoke on Monday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo, which has a capacity of 35,000.
Excited APC supporters greeted him as he entered the crowded facility by yelling “Jagaban” into the air.

At a presidential campaign rally, the APC presidential candidate pledged to replicate in Akwa Ibom the Lekki Deep Seaport constructed during his time as governor of Lagos.
According to him, the Ibom Deep Seaport will generate employment, stimulate the state’s economy, usher in prosperity, and eradicate poverty and hunger.
He said, “We will practise mechanised agriculture. We will export food from the state of Akwa Ibom. We shall construct your Deep Seaport. I have completed the Lagos Lekki Deep Seaport.

“What we must do is develop our nation. We have sufficient petrol reserves. We will become globally competitive in the petrol market. The Akwa Ibom people will never again suffer. Nigerians will never again suffer.
“I thank the people of Akwa Ibom for helping me obtain the ticket, but no credit is given for unfinished work. Voting for the APC is required to finish the assignment. If you do not have a PVCs, obtain one.
“This is an uprising. A revolution to eradicate poverty, an opportunity to transform poverty into happiness, and unemployment into an abundance of employment.
