… Opposition winning the Media battle
….. Buhari Causing confusion in Delta APC
BY MAJEMITE DON, Warri
Delta APC is at it again, it continues to bleeds, despite efforts to heal every wound. Many are heartbroken over the attitudes of things in Delta APC.
There seems to be a great tension everywhere, and it seems the unity of Delta APC is still sour. The media battle between various tendencies in Delta APC is back again. What could be the cause?
Some are pointing accusing fingers at President Muhammadu Buhari, claiming he is causing confusion everywhere. ” That how could he send names of board members to National Assembly for Screening, at the same time inaugurate an Interim Committee Board. This very act of Mr. President is currently causing Media Battle between Benjamin Okumagba supporters and that of Senator Godswill Akpabio, and Cairo Ojugbo.
While others are accusing Senator Ovie Omo-Agege over his appointment as South-South APC leader.
His appointment as South-South APC leader doesn’t go well with some individuals/camps in Delta State.
Some are saying he is a greedy man, that “how can he be Deputy Senate President and also the leader of South-South APC.”
While others are in support of his appointment as South-South APC leader.
This doesn’t go well with Senator Ovie Omo-Agege’s Media Aides, the battle for supremacy of the Media Continue to range. It seems Omo-Agege opposition is winning the media battle.
A few days ago, the Media Battle was tough, to the extent that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege’s Media Aides couldn’t even defend him, they were short of words, they were unable to educate and correct the wrong impression, despite the insult on the personality of the Most Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The media battle continues…
I will keep you informed as it unfolds…
Recall that “the South-South caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday 28th of November 2019 chose the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, as the leader of the party in the region.
The choice of Omo-Agege as leader of the party in the geopolitical zone, however, was taken in the absence of some other key and senior members of the party from the region, who were not part of the event, which was reportedly summoned with the hope of finding an end to some of the crises that have beset the lately.
