Breaking: FG Increases International Passport Fees by over 42 %
The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved an increase in the fees for International Passports, effective from September 1, 2024.
Ejes Gist News gathered that the decisions is a part of the government’s efforts to maintain the quality and integrity of the Nigerian Standard Passport.

In a statement released by the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Immigration Service, KT Udo, it was disclosed that the 32-page Passport booklet with a five-year validity, previously priced at thirty-five thousand naira, will now cost fifty thousand naira.

Additionally, the 64-page Passport booklet with a ten-year validity, previously priced at seventy thousand naira, will now be one hundred thousand naira.
Ejes Gist News reports that the percentage increase for both the 32-page and 64-page Passport booklets is approximately 42.86%.
