Bindow left the APC and switched to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), where she is now endorsing Governor Umaru Fintiri’s reelection campaign.

Through a delegation of 250 leaders from his support groups, the former governor, who was formerly a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), informed Governor Fintiri of this.
The delegation’s leader, Abdullahi Bakari, stated during a Monday speech at the Banquet Hall of Government House in Yola that the visit was ordered by their principal.

The leader claims that the former governor has asked them to thank Governor Fintiri for seeing to it that the state’s ongoing projects were completed.
They are also supporting Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president, who they claim has led them over the years and who, as a result, needs their backing for his presidential campaign.
