Alhaji Rasheed Adesokan, Balogun Mumini of Yorubaland, has passed away.
According to sources, it was discovered that the retired captain passed away at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan on Saturday.

Until his passing, Adesokan served as the Baale of Bodija in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The family has not disclosed any details about his burial.
In a brief statement to the media, a source close to the deceased’s family said, “Inalillah waina ilaehi rojiun.

“Baale Rasheed Adesokan, Balogun Mumini of Yorubaland, died today 3rd of Ramadan at UCH.
“May Allah forgive his sins, accept his many and varied acts of Ibadah, and reward him with Jannat Firdous.”
