Appoint Wike Into Your Incoming Administration, He Has A Lot To Offer — Umahi Tells Tinubu

The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, has advised the president-elect, Senator Bola Tinubu, to appoint Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike into his cabinet.

Controversy trails as Nyesom Wike Invites Tinubu To Commission Projects

On March 27, Governor Umahi made this statement during a speech at a gathering organized by Wike in the Riverson LGA of Obio-Akpor. The story of the general election of 2023, according to Umahi, cannot be recounted without including Wike.

I thank God Almighty who had enacted that Asiwaju(Tinubu) and (Kashim) Shettima will win. Look at the process of God, Tinubu was courageous and Shettima.

“God, directly and indirectly, made Governor Wike very much available, and there is no way you can conclude about the success of the election without mentioning Governor Wike.

“We will be asking Asiwaju and Shettima to please bring Governor Wike to the core administration of the federal government. He has a lot to offer. He has a lot to offer for the unity of the country. It is not all about party now, it is about the unity of the country, it is how to move this country forward and reunite our people.”Governor Umahi said

The governor said any politician who hopes to win in Rivers state without Wike is joking. Tinubu polled 231,591 votes in Rivers state to defeat PDP’s Atiku Abubakar who secured 88, 468 while Labour Party’s Peter Obi polled 175,071 votes.
