Tragic news has emerged from Benin, Edo State, as Abel Omoruyi, the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Iyare Motors, has passed away.
On Saturday, the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, issued a statement confirming the development.
Omoruyi reportedly passed away on the evening of Friday.
According to Obaseki, Omoruyi’s departure would be deeply felt by the citizens of the state. He went on to characterise him as an exceptional philanthropist and a highly accomplished businessman.
