Those who have applied at the NAQS Recruitment portal 2026 can check for their names.
The Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) has activated its recruitment portal for applicants to check the status of their applications for the ongoing exercise, the agency announced on Wednesday.
In a notice signed by the Director of Human Resources, ACG Issaka Ahmed, and published on the agency’s X handle, NAQS stated that applicants can now verify their application status via the official portal at recruitment.naqs.gov.ng using their registered details.
“The Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service wishes to inform all applicants and members of the public that the status of applications is now available for checking on the official recruitment portal, recruitment.naqs.gov.ng,” the notice read.
Computer-Based Test scheduled for 20 August 2026
Applicants whose status indicates progression to the next stage have been directed to prepare for a Computer-Based Test (CBT), which will be conducted online via the recruitment portal from Thursday, 20 August 2026.

NAQS added that further details regarding the exact schedule would be communicated to shortlisted candidates through their registered email addresses.
“Applicants are advised to remain vigilant and rely only on official information from the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service,” the agency cautioned.
Recruitment process and timeline
The recruitment exercise, which opened on 28 July 2026 and closed on 10 August 2026, attracted a total of 606,928 attempted applications, of which 407,659 were successfully submitted, according to NAQS.
Earlier, NAQS had postponed the release of the recruitment shortlist, which was initially scheduled for 13 August 2026. The agency attributed the delay to the need for a thorough, transparent and accurate recruitment process.
