According to FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, if Yushau is found to be mentally stable after the assessment, he will be charged to court. “If found to be mentally stable after the test, he will be charged with attempted suicide, disturbance of public peace and incitement,” Adeh said.
The police spokesperson stressed that Yushau’s mental health must be thoroughly tested before any legal action is taken. This is to determine if his actions were a result of mental instability or a deliberate protest.
