Senator Ndume Rejects New Office Allocation, Wants Better Space.
Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume rejected a new office allocation made to him by the Senate Services Committee, insisting that the office was not befitting of his rank as one of the most senior members in the 10th Senate.
The letter was addressed to the chairman of the committee, Senator Sunday Karimi, where Ndume justified himself by citing the Senate Standing Orders, as a one-time majority leader in the Senate, he deserves an office on the fourth floor, befitting of his seniority.
The letter, signed by Ndume’s Chief Confidential Secretary, Yati Shuaibu Gawu, cited tradition in the issuance of offices based on seniority.
