Gov. Sheriff Oborevwori has congratulated Chief Dr. Ighoyota Amori on his 74th birthday, calling him a seasoned politician and committed public servant whose contributions to Delta State remain significant.
In a statement issued Saturday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor praised Amori for decades of service and dedication to the state’s advancement.

Oborevwori specifically noted Amori’s leadership of the Delta Central 2023 (DC-23) political lobby group, saying his experience, political insight and commitment to public service make him a valuable asset.

The governor said the anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate Amori’s longevity and his enduring contributions to governance, politics and community development.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I warmly felicitate with you, Chief Dr. Ighoyota Amori, on the occasion of your 74th birthday,” Oborevwori said.

He also prayed for Amori to have many more years of good health, peace and fulfilment, and wished him continued success.
