The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved INECPRES as a registration portal for interested applicants who wish to work as ad hoc staff for the body in the 2026 general election.
This announcement was made in a statement posted to its verified Twitter account.
The portal, according to INEC, will be open to all eligible applicants for registration of all categories of ad hoc staff except collation officers.
Supervisory presiding offices (SPOs), Presiding officers (POs), Assistant presiding officers (APOs), Registration Area technicians (RATECHs), and RAC managers are among the ad hoc positions available.
