ASABA – The Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau announced fresh job creation opportunities on Friday under the M.O.R.E Business Upscale Programme (M.O.R.E BIZ-UP) initiated by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. This initiative is part of the state’s ongoing effort to boost economic growth and provide employment for young entrepreneurs.
The Bureau revealed that applications for the M.O.R.E BIZ-UP will open on Monday, 28th October, 2024, and close on Friday, 1st November, 2024.
Entrepreneurs in various sectors are encouraged to apply, including those in Information & Communication Technologies, Computer and Smart Phone Maintenance, and Building & Construction Services (such as Aluminium Profiling, POP, Interlocking, Tiling, Welding & Fabrication, and Electrical & Solar Installation). Other areas covered are Handicrafts (Fashion Design, Leather Works, Furniture/Woodwork); Personal Services (Hairdressing/Makeover, Event Management, Catering & Confectionery, Industrial Cleaning); and Audio-visual Services (Cinematography, Photography, Graphics Design).
How to Apply for Delta State M.O.R.E Biz-Up Programme
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must be aged between 21 and 45 years, possess a valid voter’s card or NIN, have a business based in Delta State, and hold a registered business.
“Applications are open to all qualified Delta State residents seeking to upscale their business opportunities,” stated the Job and Wealth Creation Bureau. Interested applicants should complete the online application at www.deltastatemorebizup.net.
