Lagos Govt reopens Chrisland Schools

Ejes Gist Newspaper reports that the Lagos State Government announced the reopening of Chrisland Schools on Saturday morning.

According to a press release acquired by Ejes Gist Newspaper from the Lagos State Commissioner of Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, the government will provide psychological counselling to the teenage students implicated in the sextape controversy.

It further stated that their decision was made to ensure that kids have access to learning when classes start on Monday across the state.

The Lagos State Ministry of Education has ordered that all Chrisland Schools that were closed due to suspected wrongdoing by some pupils in Dubai resume on Monday, April 25th, 2022, according to the government.

“The instruction comes after an assessment of the incident’s ongoing administrative investigation. Furthermore, it will ensure that students have access to learning when the new term begins on Monday, April 25th, 2022.

“In collaboration with the school’s Parent Teachers Association, the Ministry of Education and other relevant state agencies will work on scheduled psychosocial support for the students.”
