Mysterious Death in Abuja: Police Launch Investigation into Woman’s Body Found on Bridge.
A gruesome discovery was made on Thursday, May 2, in Abuja, as a lifeless body of a woman was found dumped on a bridge in the federal capital territory. The body, which was discovered by residents of the area, has sparked a full-scale investigation by the FCT police command.

According to eyewitnesses, the body was found on the bridge connecting Berger and AYA, near Mpape junction, with no visible signs of mutilation or identification. A social media user, who shared photos of the body, appealed for anyone with information about the deceased to come forward, as no identification or useful information was found on her.
The FCT police command has confirmed the incident and assured that a thorough investigation is underway. SP Josephine Adeh, the command’s spokesperson, stated that the Commissioner of Police has ordered an immediate investigation into the matter, with the DC CID tasked with conducting a discreet investigation to ascertain the identity of the corpse and the cause of death.
