PDP crisis: I’m a Christian but not born-again – Wike

The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has stated that he is committed to always stand up for what he believes in, Ejesgist.com reports.

Wike claimed that he is not a born-again Christian and that this is the reason he would always fight back against his attackers.

The birthday celebration for his counterpart in Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, was in progress when he made his remarks.

Wike claims that if somebody were to slap him, he would blast off the skull of the person who did it.

I am a christain but not a Born- Again- Wike

He stated that “Ikpeazu is a quiet man and a born-again Christian; I am not a born-again Christian.” I identify as a Christian, but I am not what you would call a “born-again” Christian.

“I informed Ikpeazu that they instructed them that if they slapped them, they should turn to the other side, but if you slap me here, I do not know if I would survive the other side. Therefore, I will remove your head from your shoulders.

Meanwhile, the Lagos PDP gubernatorial candidate, Jide Adediran who is also known as Jandor has finally replied Governor wike for Endorsing Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor running for re-election.

The Lagos PDP Gubernatorial candidate stated that what the Rivers Governor did didn’t come as a shock as it was well expected.

He added that the Rivers state Governor had never supported his bid for Governorship undermining the fact that they both belonged to same party.
